Following the public launch of tvOS 12.3, watchOS 5.2.1, and macOS Mojave 10.14.5, Apple is moving on to the next update.
Apple today seeded the first beta of tvOS 12.3, watchOS 5.3, and macOS Mojave 10.14.6 to developers. In both cases it’s likely that the new software is minor in scale. While watchOS 5.2.1 did introduce a new 2019 Pride flag watch face, and tvOS 12.3 introduced the revamped Apple TV app, both were not flooded with new features. That will likely be the case this time around as well. Apple’s latest beta will likely focus on behind-the-scenes tweaks and improvements, as well as the standard bug squashing.
To update to tvOS 12.4, developers need to install the profile through Xcode.
To update to watchOS 5.3, developers must make sure that the Apple Watch is at least 50% in battery life, connected to the charger, and also connected and within range of the iPhone.
To update to macOS Mojave 10.14.6, developers simply need to open System Preferences –> Software Update on their registered devices.
